“I was inspired to create this picture by a landscape in Kenya, which I flew over several times during my visit there. There I learned about the organization of Flying doctors who save lives through their missions, similar to those in Australia. Financing these missions is often very difficult. In order to make a small contribution to their support, I made some of my silkscreen prints of this motif available to them. The proceeds from the sale of one silkscreen were used to finance a mission flight.“
