Fiori per tutti (1987)

Original diptych in acrylic, 2 x (100 x 125 cm)

Colorful diptych painting of vibrant orange, yellow, and white poppies against an intense blue sky, inspired by Western Australia's landscape and aboriginal nature regeneration practices. Painted by Franco in his family home before its sale.
Living in Western Australia Franco got inspired by these poppies and the intense blue sky.

“This diptych is one of my most successful paintings. I still painted it in my old family home just shortly before we had to sell it.”

“Flowers – these creations always fascinate me again. Their multiples forms and colours inspire me to paint them. Particularly experiences of the aborigines in Australia impressed me. They burnt everything down and only a few days later everything was flourishing again. For me the nature is something special and I like to engage myself to preserve this inimitable beauty. Either eucalyptus, orchids, daffodils, tulips or poppies, all have their own spirit and give the landscape its appearance.”
